Power to Change

The Power to Change is an independent charitable Trust set up in 2015 to support, develop and grow community business across England. Pulse is able to support new and existing community businesses with grant funded support through the the Power to Change Fund.

What is The Fund?

Over the next decade, Power to Change will use £150 million provided by the Big Lottery Fund to deliver grants and practical support to encourage new community businesses to start and enable existing ones to grow and becoming more self-sustaining.

Across the country there are examples of communities coming together to save local shops from closure, setting up community centres to provide a place for people to meet, and developing community-led housing to help regenerate local areas.

Power to Change wants to help these organisations to thrive.

Power to Change also wants to help more people to set up businesses that respond to local need and change the place in which they live for the better.
