Partnership Skills Programme

Yorkshire Forward funded its Partnership Skills Programme to provide Renaissance Market Towns with the skills and understanding needed to progress local community regeneration, and required specialist training workshops to achieve this.

Partnership Skills Programme

open quotationWe commissioned Pulse to deliver ‘Great Resources’ as part of a wider package of support given to community leaders across the Yorkshire & Humber Region. The feedback from delegates on the sessions was excellent. A particular comment that recurred was that Pulse had made the training very relevant to activity taking place in their communities – with the careful selection of case studies and knowledge of their concerns.close quotation

Key Actions

Pulse worked with MBED, the Partnership Skills Programme delivery agent, and developed and delivered the Great Resources workshop across Yorkshire. The workshop focused on project development and how successful projects could be delivered and resourced, including a strong focus on understanding types of funding and the process of developing funding applications. Workshops were fully interactive and encouraged attendees to use their own local projects as working examples, to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions.
