
As part of our business plan development, we asked Pulse to develop and facilitate three Board Away Weekends for us. Pulse were adept at helping the Board to clearly understand the issues in hand, and helped us to set out a clear strategy for future development.
Pulse developed and delivered three Board strategic review events. Each event involved working closely with the Chair to determine an agenda and format, and the preparation of all presentational materials and group sessions/exercises. The first event involved clarifying the purpose of ABCP, setting strategic objectives and agreeing project development priorities. The second event considered requirements for the board, including developing a greater understanding of roles and responsibilities, identifying skills requirements, and agreeing how to take forward Board development. The third event focused on work programming, and included progress with key developments, recruitment, marketing, and agreeing an action plan for the year ahead.
