We have been working with Pulse for over three years now, which started with Pulse developing a building options report for us to look at new premises for a large indoor skatepark. Since that time we have developed a strong working relationship, the team are always responsive to our needs and knowledgeable, particularly in relation to the development of projects and fundraising. We are now working with Pulse on developing our new site in the North West that will benefit more young people than even before, and they are assisting us to sell our successful model elsewhere.

Key Actions
Pulse Regeneration developed a feasibility study outlining a viable strategy for Rampworx, including key development aims and identifying future activities focusing on sports provision and youth development. Following this, a number of options were developed and suitable sites considered for the development of a new skate park and which could generate secure income streams, and recommendations were made about how to take the project forward.
Achievements
- A robust strategy for operation as a social enterprise on a financially sustainable basis
- Identification of a new site in Wirral, which will provide enhanced services for young people, and offer a wider range of sporting activities
- Recent agreement of Wirral Council to asset transfer the site for the new Rampworx development
