Amble Local Food Hub

open quotationWe chose to work with Pulse because of their real understanding of our core activity and their insight and experience, which informed the feasibility work we needed to undertake. Our experience was wholly positive and good value for money working with a professional, positive team who worked beyond their remit to fulfil our needs.close quotation

Key Actions

Pulse Regeneration developed feasibility studies to assess the viability of developing a restaurant and a market garden, and undertook subsequent business planning to secure Leader+ funding to create a Centre for Local Food. More recently support has included work on a scoping study and business plan for the development of a high quality eco training restaurant based on the award winning Acorn House in London. The development of the restaurant will bring back into use a former Co-op Department Store on the main high street, which will also house a range of new social enterprises including preserves, soups, and hampers businesses.
