Telford and Wrekin Schools
Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is the largest investment in schools to date. As a programme it is changing the way education is delivered to young people, with educational attainment the top priority. The aim is to rebuild or refurbish nearly every secondary school in England. In Telford and Wrekin the Council have developed a strategy for changes that aims to extend their model of community clusters to each of their eleven Learning Communities.

Pulse Regeneration assisted Kier in their successful submission, specifically supporting the Sustainability and Community Benefit proposals in the development of its bid to secure the contract for the delivery of the Telford and Wrekin BSF Programme. In particular, this included research and consultation, resulting in the development of areas such as development of the local supply chain, ideas on sustainable development, creating opportunities for the community and voluntary sector, and providing added value in terms of sustainable employment, training, apprenticeships through the programme and opportunities for groups which are hard to reach.
