Following the completion of a Feasibility Study by Pulse Regeneration South Liverpool Housing has established a social enterprise that will deliver over 75km of fencing to 3,600 homes in Speke and Garston using local suppliers and materials to support its delivery. The enterprise will create new employment and training opportunities for local residents in South Liverpool. To date 10 jobs have been created for local people.
Managing Director, Chris Hart, commented:
“We were pleased to work with South Liverpool Housing on developing the concept for the fencing social enterprise and are thrilled that it has now been taken forward and developed for the benefit of the local community especially when jobs are in short supply in the current economic climate.”
