Pulse Regeneration has completed a Visitor Economy Study on behalf of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council. The Study focused on the retail provision within four of its heritage and cultural venues; Cannon Hall, Cooper Gallery, Elsecar Heritage Centre, and Worsbrough Mill. The objective was to provide a snapshot of the buying habits of visitors to the four venues, and to consider the implications for Barnsley MBC in terms of revenue income. The outcome of the Study has provided Barnsley MBC with a number achievable recommendations to diversify and enhance its retail offer as well as opportunities to potentially increase revenue income.
